Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting

The School of Business at Meredith College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

- Be willing and qualified to teach in two of the following areas, above principles: Taxation, Auditing, Intermediate Accounting and/or Accounting Information Systems at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as needed.
- Produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals.
- Advise students and engage in professional activities in the School.
- Serve as an advisor or co-advisor of Meredith’s Association for Finance and Accounting student group.
- Serve on various committees at the School and College level.
- Display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, advising, and service to the School and College.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- A terminal degree in Accounting or a terminal degree in a business-related discipline combined with professional experience in the Accounting field is required (ABD considered).
- Demonstration of scholarly contribution through refereed journal publications and other intellectual contributions.
- Demonstration of excellence in oral and written communication skills.
