Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Psychology from an accredited institution and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Must establish NC residency by August 1, 2021.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to implementing the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all areas of academic practice and will collaborate with other faculty in developing curriculum relevant to the needs of twenty-first century Psychologists.
Review of applications and nominations will begin February 24, 2021, and continue until the position is filled. Applications should include the following: letter of application, curriculum vitae, statements of teaching philosophy and professional goals, copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and a list of three professional references.
The Department of Psychology and Social Work is composed of four units, the undergraduate program in psychology, the masters’ program in industrial/organizational psychology, a CSWE accredited bachelor’s of Social Work, and a clinic for preschool-aged children on the autism spectrum. These four units work in close and collegial collaboration.
