  • Employer Relations Coordinator

    Department: Career Planning
    Summary:

    Serve as a member of the employer relations team, assisting with the planning and implementation of employer recruiting focused services, programs, and events.  Manage and provide oversight, and serve as the primary point of contact for Handshake, OCP’s career management system, including staying up-to-date on new product features, training, and communicating that information with the team and campus community as needed. Ensure employer recruiting policies are effectively communicated and followed, promoting equitable recruiting processes for students and alumni. Assume all tasks related to the delivery of the First Destination Survey to students and alumni, and communicate outcomes to constituents and key stakeholders. Build relationships with employers, the campus community, and students and alumni to coordinate effective employer programming and recruitment. Lead marketing initiatives for OCP by developing innovative ways to communicate and advertise Career Planning services, programming, and events to various audiences and stakeholders, including students, alumni, faculty/staff, and parents. Serve as the liaison for assessment and analytics for the Career Planning team. Assist with general career counseling/coaching and drop-ins during high-volume periods.

This position advises Meredith students from international backgrounds, implements programs to support their retention and success, and serves as a resource to stakeholders throughout campus. As an international student advocate, this position also actively contributes to departmental and campus-wide initiatives on anti-racism, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. While international students are the consistent priority, the OIP Assistant Director provides additional support for Meredith’s out-of-state students through a combined “Welcome to NC” First Year Experience (FYE) course.

  • Admissions Data Administrator

    Summary:

    The Admissions Data Administrator provides an important support role in reaching new student enrollment goals. Daily responsibilities are conducted in the department’s client relationship management system (CRM) and the College’s student information system.  The Data Administrator is responsible for multiple points of data entry throughout the prospective student recruitment cycle, including but not limited to, data entry of prospective student inquiries, processing of applications for admission and application materials, processing outbound electronic communication and physical mailings, and communication flow to school counselors. Additional responsibilities within the CRM include query building, assisting with the implementation of new CRM features, and ongoing CRM support for the admissions team. This position also assists with support for selected admissions events.

Performs essential duties related to facilities work as identified by management during inclement weather, emergency situations, or as campus needs dictate. Must be able to work either first shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) or second shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) - please specify on your application the shift(s) you are able to work. This position is temporary.
